Nike has officially introduced their latest Air Zoom Pegasus 38 running shoe. The Pegasus has been a staple of the Nike running family since the early 1980s. Much like the previous iterations, the Pegasus 38 is designed for all runners, and its lightweight and durable makeup to help you improve in your training. The Zoom Air Bag, which was added in 2020, was also kept in the Pegasus 38, and combined with the React foam, the shoe will deliver great energy return while remaining lightweight. One big change Nike made with the Air Zoom Pegasus 38 was the fit in the shoe’s toe box. While both the Pegasus 36 and 37 were a bit more snug in the forefoot, the design team has switched back to a roomier fit.
This Jordan Zoom 92 Smoke Grey arrives in a mix of Smoke Grey, Gym Red, White, and Black. While the uppers are a collage of meshes and suedes, they maintain a consistent palette of grey shades. The tongue and spaces on the side are filled in with black, recreating the popular “Cool Grey” color palette that has dressed some of Jordan’s most popular sneakers. Unlike these previous models, the pair also incorporates bold hits of Gym Red on the lacestays, midsole piece, and forefoot’s Zoom Air cushioning, which extends to the sides for visibility. It features a stretchy-fit sleeve and underfoot cushioning offering for a comfortable fit. ’90s-inspired details give the shoe its retro flavor.
